Just as you have the opportunity to enjoy Mill Creek MetroParks, you can play a part in its future. Although many gifts to the Mill Creek Park Foundation are monetary donations, gifts can and do come in many forms:
- A conservation easement is a legal right that you can give to Mill Creek MetroParks to limit future development of your land to keep it natural, scenic or wooded. Donation of an easement may provide tax benefits such as an income tax reduction, and estate tax reduction or a property tax reduction. We suggest that you consult your attorney before deciding if a donation of an easement will suit your needs.
- You can donate a bench, tree or other plants in your name or in honor or memory of a loved one. We will work with you on the appropriate placement of these gifts.
